Join us at one of Chicago's finest drinking establishments! We've reserved the upstairs party room and IDSA Chicago will be providing some light hors h'oeuvres for which to nosh upon...come prepared to imbibe the finest in imported Belgian ales and locally microbrewed beers. (We'll have a special price on Three Floyds Alpha King drafts -- check out their bottle and draft lists for the rest!) There aren't many finer places in Chicago to have good conversation and a relaxed drink than the Hopleaf, so pencil it in and we'll see you there! Free and open to everyone.

columbia idsa meet saic idsa
Columbia has a two part event focusing on sustainability coming up. it
is some how tied to the massive change exhibit at the MCA
The first session, guest speakers are coming in to give
presentations on working bikes, urban habitats, and the concept of
"people powered." on Tuesday, November 14 from 4.30-7.00, (location tba).
then as a follow up, there will be an all day design charette where product design and interior
architecture students will work in small groups to apply the info from
massive change and these presentations to some design challenge. this
will be on Saturday November 18th, at 623 S. Wabash from 9-5
this will be a good time to share ideas and to see what other schools are producing. more info will be posted soon

Massive Change on October 28th @ 2 pm
First SAIC IDSA Group Event: Group trip to the Massive Change exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art + dinner/drinks afterwards. Meet there on Saturday, October 28th at 2pm. There are 2 more spots, so RSVP to lsmith7@saic.edu by Friday, October 27th if you want them.
